What's next?
You will receive a pre-approval notification informing you of the pre-approved amount, as well as other loan details along with contact information if you have any questions. You can also give your pre-approved notification to the salesperson at the dealership of your choosing.
If you haven't decided on a particular vehicle yet, a pre-approval notification shows the car dealership what you're qualified for and your ballpark budget. Once you select your vehicle, Westerra can provide an official approval.
We partner with many Colorado dealerships. If the dealership that you chose is one of our partner dealerships, they will handle the loan documents and will send to Westerra Credit Union.
If the dealership that you chose is not one of our partners, or you are buying from a private party, the notification that we sent you will outline specific information needed to begin the loan process.

What's next?
You will receive a notification from our loan processing department informing you of the loan terms** and the documentation needed to begin processing your loan as well as contact information for further questions.
To begin processing your loan, a current and clear copy of your driver’s license will be needed from all buyers. The table below outlines specific circumstances where additional documentation will be requested.

What's next?
Once you have submitted all required documentation to proceed with processing your loan, the documents will be reviewed and loan documents will be prepared for you to sign. A loan processor will reach out to you to discuss final details and closing options.

What's next?
You can now view your loan through online banking and any funds that you instructed to be deposited into your account, if applicable.
