Grants
Westerra began the grant program over a decade ago and has proudly given more than $500,000 to more than 1,000 Denver metro area school programs. The Westerra Credit Union School Grant Program strives to enhance students’ learning experiences by providing monetary awards for items like art supplies, sports fees and equipment, after school programs, classroom materials or other programs teachers and schools determine most beneficial.
School Grant Program
In addition to our internal application, The Westerra School Grant Program is also awarded through the following school district foundations:
Cherry Creek Schools Foundation Education Initiative Grants $5,000
Denver Public Schools Foundation A to Z Fund $5,000
Douglas County Schools Foundation Opportunity Grants $5,000
Jefferson County Schools Foundation Educator Hero Grants $5,000
Mapleton Public Schools Foundation Marchi Mini Grants $5,000
Eligibility
We welcome Westerra members who are educators serving Early Childhood Education through Grade 12 in any Colorado school district to apply. Applicants must be a Westerra Credit Union member with a minimum $5 funded into a savings account at the time of application submission. Not yet a Westerra member? Grant Size
Grants are available up to $500 and will be issued to schools or departments (not individuals).
